I purchased this part for my 1989 560SL. This is a NOS (New Old Stock) /EGR Valve – Mercedes-Benz part 0001408360 which matches my original part exactly, and was shipped to me in it’s original factory Mercedes blue & white box, with mfg date code 1986.

Their shipping policy and time frame was amazing. Connecticut to California in 3 days, and shipping was FREE !

The part’s condition was like-new, as if I went down to my local Mercedes dealer and picked this part up yesterday.

A little background…. This original MBZ part has been discontinued for several years now – so after an exhaustive search – it appeared that my only option was to purchase a “used” EGR Valve from a Mercedes dismantling company with prices ranging from $200 – $300 for a clean one. And the guarantee was that the Valve was “in working condition”, even though it had been in service since the late 1980s, and there was a likelihood that this used part could soon fail as my original 1989 part had just done.

Then I stumbled upon HMC Mercedes and their extensive inventory of vintage NOS / NLA (No Longer Available) Mercedes parts.

I was so impressed with this company and their service, they are now stored in my search “Favorites” for vintage Mercedes parts.
